I just found this in my notes and need to share this with you all.
When we hung out with Anniex0r, when she came to visit, we went to the Barcade. In our various adventures during the evening we came up with or experienced the following:
Barcade has some classic comfort food, and actually offer a simple but kicking egg sammich. Somehow we were talking about various ways to administer delicious egg, and the ‘framed egg’ came up. I forgot what she called them, but I had always called them framed eggs. It’s when you basically cut a hole out of a piece of toast, and then put it in a hot frying pan, then crack an egg in the hole and fry the egg. Since it cooks ‘in’ the toast, it’s as if you’re framing it.
Well she had the genius idea of doing that twice, and then making a grilled cheese out of the two pieces of bread. Not sure what to call it, but it’s something to try. I forsee an internet documentation project coming up.
Also at the bar, I saw a girl at the bar get poured a glass of wine, and then they poured Redbull in it, so I had to ask WTF she was drinking. She explained that since the bar only has a beer and wine license, she was getting creative. The problem she faced was that she had no name for the drink. So we brainstormed and she ended up coming up with a good one: The Sleepy Ninja! Red Wine makes you sleepy, and Redbull makes you a spaz.
I then suggested a similar drink, White Wine and Rockstar, and call it the Spazzy Pirate.
Then you can make some kind of floater drink or two paired shots and call it the drinks Yin-Yarrr.
