I’m somewhat late to the bus with this guy, Jonathan Coulton. A friend had mentioned that he was in love with him, but I never took the time to listen. I came across this video today though and finally did the catching up. He’s internets folk-rock. Totally not my jam but the subject matter makes it rock. (Truth be told, I’m a sucker for some good oozin ahs….)
This is hilarious; it looks like he just randomly found some Flickr pictures and sang about them. Thumbs up for slurpees cracked my shit up. He’s also playing at PAX if I’m not mistaken.
On a side note, it’s funny to say ‘if I’m not mistaken.’ on the internets. Two seconds of research can determine if I’m mistaken or not.
