So this is the official music video for this song by this artist.
Looks a lot like this:
Nothing– absolutely nothing– could better suit Ryan Adams’ new rocker “Halloweenhead”, from just-released Easy Tiger, than this video posted on Yahoo. Why? Well, it’s a middle-aged couple disco-dancing. And then other middle-aged couples taking the floor to disco-dance with them. What’d you think? While most of the songs on Easy Tiger tend to trade the goofiness of Adams’ online persona for the earnestness of his commercial heyday, “Halloweenhead” is loaded with ridiculous sound effects, over-the-top Journey-style harmonies, and a silly title metaphor involving “tricks and treats”. It’s what the pros call “funny”.
Would have been remotely cool if he had done some sort of tribute, synched it up to his song, or something, but this is just lazy. Dont’ give me crap about that’s the artists intent, some kind of comment or commentary on music videos. This is what the internet calls “gay”. Way to steal the internet, indy rocker.
