Dear God, that sounds about like my first apartment in Westchester by LAX right after I graduated. The kind of place built in that 1950's post war Baby Boom and literally not renovated since, just painted over in hopes that it'd hold the old bitch together before anyone noticed she needed to be put down. Hope you give her a good redecorating on par with a triple bypass and a tummy tuck.

The strike's not over til the contract's voted in and approved. My opinion: both sides lost. Kind of the definition of a lose/lose situation, but it was better than a lose-and-get-raped-for-the-next-20-years like the whole VHS/DVD thing.

~cheers,
Gnawbert
