I’m surprised this wasn’t won by GoldenPalace.com
Haha, I love that when there’s anything to do with cats on the internet, I get it from 5 different people within like 5 minutes of each other. Thank you for thinking of me, first, when you think of internet cats.

The history of Scientology, how they got tax exempt status, why it’s not ‘fair, ‘ and a little insight as to the possibility of Scientology making it’s own fake threatening videos to try to discredit them. Very well put together.
Turns out tomorrow is Operation: Reconnect, where Anonymous is going to attempt to reconnect disconnected families of scientologists.
My internet friend lily (the huge fatty loot whore) had something interesting happen to her. It seems there’s an AIM bot that spoofs two people into thinking they both started a convo with each other. Nobody knows what’s going on.
Is this bot dangerous/have I been hacked?
This bot has not exhibited any dangerous attributes but that doesn’t mean it is benign. That being said, new bots initiating conversations that start with “i say, old bean, have you seen my hat?” are “Hatting” people all the time. There is a chance copy-cats with malicious intentions could start appearing. We’re trying to keep as updated a list as we can. Practice safe AIM netiquette, because you are in a conversation with someone you don’t know, do not click on links until you have verified what they are and only if you trust that other person. Please post to this community if you have any problems with any particular bot so that we can let others know.
Anonymous presents an array of opportunities for interesting scholorship. It is a cultural community, a political movement, a legal battleground, and more. It straddles between internet and “real world” existence. We need to study Anonymous… and to study hard.
Academics from cultural studies, media theory, and anthropology might seek to better understand what holds this unique community together. How have they appropriated anime and internet culture into the core of their identity and used it to unify their movement? How do neighbor communities like cosplay and video gaming cross pollinate with Anonymous? How does Anonymous connect with the earlier Internet vs. Scientology effort? What do we make of their obscure and offensive language?
A good cross-section and somewhat accurate look at the progression of what the whole Anonymous vs. CoS thing is all about, and how it came to be.
